Bug: Music in the background low volume

I recognize this problem. It has come and gone over time with different iOS versions. I believe it to be a bug in iOS’s text to speech engine when connected to Bluetooth… especially Bluetooth HFP (hands free protocol). As a workaround I added being able to turn up the voice volume to 130%, but that’s a non optimal workaround.
If you have another app that uses the text to speech engine (I believe Google Maps does) would you mind giving that a try with similar circumstances?
