Import GPX ok, but route changes whenn i call up the importet route
Hi Guido,
the tip some weeks ago to export kurviger to GPX and import GPX to Scenic works fine. I exported from kurviger "route" and 25 waypoints (https://kurv.gr/6Lkxr ) and when i import to scenic the route and the waypoints on the import screen looks fine.
But when i go to "my routes" and choose the saved route, the shown route is different on several places and also there were less waypoints!
Another issue?

That’s very weird. Let me see if I understand correctly:
- You imported into Scenic.
- During import the magenta line matched the blue dotted line
- You saved the route
- And now, some time later, the route is different?
That would be really really strange. Never heard of that to be honest. Are you sure the magenta line matched the blue line during import?

I planed the route in Kurviger.de and it looks like a crooked eight 
You gave me the tip not to sent it to scenic, because of the new feature of kurviger. So i export to GPX: https://kurv.gr/6Lkxr with the feature "route" and 25 waypoints and i imported into Scenic.
The import screen shows the following picture only with a magenta line, you can see that the lower part does match, maybe too little waypoints?
When i call the route it looks like the following picture, the same like on the import, so maybe that was wrong from me.
Ah...sorry...should have been more clear. So.. the export to GPX option is really a workaround. You should use the 'track' feature and import the track to get the routes to match better. But, by doing that you'll loose the stop info.
I have just released an app update to Apple that supports the multiple routing modes of Kurviger. Usually Apple takes about 1 to 2 days to approve an app update. Once that update is in the App Store, this problem will be resolved.

for your quick help, i export now "track" and 30 waypoints and the crocked eight looks fine, but the magenta line does not match the blue line so that i am missing very important waypoint that i have to match ......
One additional question: on the import screen you can see 26 Waypoints some in magenta and white, some only in magenta. If you call the route only 18 waypoints stays and magenta points disappered. Whats that?

Scenic differs between via points and stops. It's a bit confusion because Kurviger uses different terminology.
Kurviger Via Point = Scenic Stop
Kurviger Shaping Point = Scenic Via Point
If you want to see the via points always, have a look at 'Via Point Pro' mode description. (Settings > Navigation & Tracking)

a fast new UPDATE of your App, but now:
1. i sent the same tour to scenic and after a long calculation time: Error "route cannot be calculated" I can see a blue dotted line and it look really like the original from kurviger so the algorithem seems to work, but no route 😉
2. NEW: i put "Amorbach" into the destination field of the App, but i got Error "route cannot be calculated". several other town works good, but others not. I cannot find a pattern, but many destinations to the east have a problem.

yep... I know. I tested with your route. I'm afraid there is something in your route that makes it impossible for Scenic to calculate. Scenic's routing engine is 3rd party, so I don't have any influence on that. Unfortunately the routing engine doesn't give any specifics on it either, so it becomes a bit of trial and error I'm afraid. Usually however this is caused by one or more via points being on a (to Scenic) non existing road.
Regarding the Amorbach issue... it could be related actually. My guess is that there is a mapping issue with one (or more) of the roads around your area. (e.g. scenic thinking road is blocked, or is one way) I can't really do anything about that, since also the map data is 3rd party. We will have to wait for a map update on that one. BUT, with a bit of luck, Scenic 3 will be out before a new map update is available. Scenic 3 uses a different map and routing provider all together.
Realize that this is not the answer you were looking for, but I hope it at least explains. For now, for this specific route, what you could do is use the 'save the blue line as track' button. There should really a road to the east blocked, but it is only when i take the destination from open street map, when i take it from google maps it works!
When will Version 3 be there? 😉
