Feature option stop recalculate

@guidomm: please add the option for “no recalculating” the route during navigation.

Today i drove with this option. Its much better.

Tnx for the tip. Problem exists that in eifel and vogezen area we have no control over the way the navigation “thinks”. And because the route sometimes goes “up and down” and a shortcut means we “loose” quit some km”s. We want to have it off. Ive inclouded a link to a route in the moezel area so you know what i mean.

Unfortunately the routing framework does not have an option to turn off recalculations. But... in the next update there will be an option 'always show original route'. If you turn that on you will see the original route as a line on the map, even if a recalculation took place. You would have to ignore instruction until you get back on route though (you can mute the voice temporarily through the nav menu, to make that less annoying)

Btw...did you know you can share routes and rides from Scenic too? (There's a share button above the map preview if you select a route or ride. This is not only nice for your friends but also a handy way to share routes for support reasons 🙂 More info here: https://scenic.app/knowledge-base/sharing-routes-rides/

"original route as a line on the map"

Original route should be easy to distinguishe from the route Im driving (different color or dashes instead of a line). My "garmin-buddy's" almost always show the original track on there garmin of which the route is derived, so this is a really good idea. (I envy the current option in the Garmin).

Sorry...framework does not have option to show arrows in the line. Just a line connecting all coordinates.

'always show original route' is a great option. Used it last two days, when on mini holiday (only one night) in the Moezel region (Germany, near Dutch/Belgian border).

Im wondering when importing a track, how many points are left from the original track. Because sometimes, when importing a track, it looks as if the newly made route is slightly different of the original track made in basecamp (my budies use basecamp).

Do you mean why the magenta (calculated) route is sometimes different from the track (the blue dotted line)? If so, have a look here ... specifically first point. Also check out blog article that's linked to there.
