Unable to send route from Kurviger to Scenic when both on iPhone or iPad

All apps and IOS software are the latest version on both iPhone X and iPad Air 2.
What puzzeles me is that it works so fine from Mac to iPhone and iPad, but not from iPad to iPad or iPhone to iPhone although the same browser and apps are being used.. :-I
Any help will be much appreciated as I do not want to have to bring my Mac on MC trips.. 🙂

That's because the automatic opening of an app through a link, uses Apple Universal Links. Chrome somehow can't open other apps through universal links. Many of the maps on the market have a horrible contrast for roads compared to surroundings, especially when being used as regular map with no spesific route, Google maps being the worst.
