Support to avoid "Kraftfahrstraßen" (Motorways/Motorroads) as well
Hello,
I am using the Scenic app to plan and drive tours with my 50ccm Scooter. For me and all others who're using the app with "slower" vehicles, it would be very helpful, if there would be an option to avoid Motorways (in German "Kraftfahrstraßen") as well and not only main roads or highways. Motorways require the vehicle to drive at least a speed of 60km/h and 50ccm Scooters usually have a max speed of 45 or 50 km/h. I experienced it several times that I was routed onto such a Motorway and had to make a stunt not to drive on it.
In OSM those streets are marked with the appropriate attributes
"highway=*
and
motorroad=yes"
so it should be easy to filter those out the same way as highways.

Hi Marc,
Scenic is primarily meant for motorcycles so its routing acts accordingly. Scenic's current map provider only has the option to avoid highways, not other (smaller) roads. Scenic's curvy routing provider does have this option though. If you generate a curvy route there are more avoidance options, amongst others 'Avoid Highways' and 'Avoid main roads'. You could give that a try. Might help for the moment. In Scenic 3, the new map provider has some options for moped routing, but I won't be implementing that from the start. Will be a little while.
