Stops
Quote from stevefrisco on 15.09.2020, 16:30Hi, I've been using Scenic for a while now, and am now trying to understand the best way to use "Stops". I've looked in the documents, and forum, maybe I've missed it but at any rate, here's my quetion.
How do you use Stops? My experience so far provides this information.
Sometimes, when using a gas station as a Stop, Scenic just announces "You've reached your destination". Sometimes it tells me to turn to get to the destination. Why?
Sometimes when I'm at the destination, Scenic will show the message "Do you want to skip the next Stop". Not sure if it means the Stop I'm at, or indeed the next Stop.
My goal with a Stop is to be able to pull into the parking lot, see the sights, fill up with gas, take a break, etc. Then be able to get back on the route as created.
Thanks for any feedback.

The way you want to use stops is the way they are intended.

This sounds like a bug. It should say you've reached 'name of stop'. Are you sure it's saying "destination"?

The message should only show when a detour is detected. Is it possible that the actual destination is a little bit off the route?
