Stop/POI Closeby

And while I'm in Custom POIs, is there a way to edit the collection of Custom POIs outside of Scenic in addition to the controls provided in the app?

Yes, you need to define custom pois for that. At this moment it is still a bit cumbersome to add them as custom POIs were designed with speed cams in mind. So, unless you can find a file online somewhere with all the 'large balls of twine' locations in the world 😉 you're stuck with entering latitude and longitude manually.
