is there any way to choose not to re route?
No, sorry. At the moment there is not. You could mute the voice temporarily, but that’s not really a solution. In Scenic 3 I’ll see if I can add this.
that would great...its very annoying when it keeps wanting to back to the starting point....also it would be great if we could plan out a ride on a desktop and be able to navigate the routes
It should nog guide you back to the start point. Have a look at 'detour behavior' and 'via point pro' mode in Settings > Navigation & Tracking.
