Refreshing Furkot
Quote from kn0xster on 16.04.2020, 05:11Is there any way to refresh the connection to Furkot within the Scenic app? I don't seem to have an up to date list of the routes that I have currently on Furkot. Even a way to logout of the Furkot connection and log back in again might be good.
Thanks,
Mike

It's strange that it's not updating your trip list in Scenic. Every time Scenic displays the Furkot trips it makes a real time connection with Furkot. Could it be that you have two furkot accounts perhaps? And Scenic is connected to the 'wrong' one?
In any case, here's how you can disconnect / reconnect Scenic with Furkot
- Go to the Furkot website and login with your furkot account
- Open the menu (click 'hamburger' button top right)
- Select 'applications' from that menu
- You'll see a list of applications that are allowed to access your Furkot data, Scenic should be in that list
- Click the 'Remove' button next to Scenic.
- Now go to Scenic > Import > Furkot
- Scenic should now recognise that it's not connected to Furkot anymore and give you the opportunity to enter your Furkot details again.

I think that might well be the case that I have two accounts. The issue is that I don't know what the details to the old account are any more so when I go to Furkot to disconnect from there it says that I don't have any apps connected (but it does recommend Scenic though 😉 ).
Is there a way to sever the connection within Scenic?
Cheers,
Mike

Quote from Guido on 17.04.2020, 09:46Done. You should now get the Furkot Login screen when you select Furkot row in the Import tab. Let me know if you run into any more problems (best send me direct email through support link in that case)

Maybe worthwhile putting an option in Scenic for people do be able to do this on their side. hopefully not too many idiots with multiple Furkot accounts they dont remember the access to!

Quote from Funfuzz on 27.04.2020, 08:58I second the feature request to be able to reset the furkot integration Scenic side. I am also unable to have my Furkot map list auto-update. After reading this post I have a hypothesis that this may be caused from me establishing integration with a direct account but later utilizing Facebook login. Right now, Scenic sees only my older Furkot maps, and inside the Furkot web app it doesn’t recognize that I have Scenic integration (no way to disconnect).

OK. Have removed connection for you and will add this to feature request list.

When I do this what I see is "You haven't given any application access to your Furkot trips" then it recommends Scenic but there is not "remove" button
Thanks again for the help.
