Please bring back pedestrian Navigation!
Quote from schalex on 18.03.2020, 04:00Hi @guiodomm
I use the (offline) maps for navigation on foot in a foreign country/city. in the past it works great and since a while with a new update it was removed or I can't find it.
Please bring it back or help me to find it.
Thanks a lot,
Schalex

Im afraid pedestrian mode is not coming back any time soon. One of the reasons for the redesign of Scenic 2 was to simplify the user interface and increase usability.
Knowing that pedestrian mode is not a core feature for a motorcycle navigation app, and after checking that pedestrian mode was used in less than 0,5% of all navigation sessions, I decided to remove it for simplicity and usability sake.
I hope you understand.
Best regards,Guido

im really sad but I can understand if it was used not enough by others.
for me it was a key function planning routes through a city and even planning motorcycle trips on not official roads, the "thin brown lines" on the map. now they are not longer recognized.
maybe consider bringing it back and promote it as a key feature and scenic as a hiking map or so..
thanks a lot,
Schalex
