- What device are you using and what iOS version is it running?- Is it only happening for map styles or also for other sub menus? (E.g. Appearance > Distance & Speed Unit)
- Does the app really crash, or do you get stuck with no way to move to other screen? (If the latter, you don’t have to remove the entire app, you can also just ‘kill’ it by swiping up in the app switcher)
Im releasing an app update this week to deal with the above mentioned iOS 12 issue. Will also take your answers into account.

Thats definitely is not normal. Map Stule is a free feature and you should be able to just tap on once to choose it.
There are currently some problems with the ‘wheel’ disappearing so that you can’t go to other screens anymore. This is an only an issue for iPhones running iOS12.
