First week with Scenic

The semi-transparent menu buttons for zooming and menu selection on the navigation UI are brilliant. Big and glove friendly. The menu page is another triumph in glove friendly design. The only complaint I have is the turn direction information top left of the screen. For me this is the most crucial part of any navigation app. Now if you are using voice navigation its of little importance but if not then its vital that this is big and clear so a rider can see it easily with just a quick glance. For me its too small and the roundabouts icon poor. Calimoto has this nailed. Maybe for Scenic 3 you could have a look at this. Yesterday's ride before lockdown the sun was low and there was a lot of reflection on the iPhone screen. I found the dark mode worked really well. Black background with white directions were easier to read than my TomTom.
So Guido thanks for producing a great motorcycle app and I am really looking forward to version 3. Please have a look at the direction icon and information and if at all possible make this bigger and better.

It's the framework that provided the 'arrow images'. With the new map provider this should get better too. I'll pay special attention to this once I get to that part of the development.
