Distance to stops using Routes

When doing a route the app doesn't display how many miles it is to the next stop, which would be very helpful. Is there a setting to enable this or is this a feature that requires a paid subscription?

You can see the time to the next stop by tapping on the lower bar (where the ETA, remaining distance, etc) is showing. That will slide up a panel where you can see the duration and arrival times for next stops.

Currently it is not possible to see the time to the next stop in the lower bar while navigating. I tried to implement this but I ran into difficulty with the routing framework. I will look into this again in the near future as this is a highly requested feature.

I understand not being able to see the distance to the next stop while riding the route, but while planning a route, it would be very helpful to have a screen that shows the distance between each of the stops for gas purpose planning.
