Create Furkot route, time correct, but way longer on Scenic
I created a furkot route but when I download it to Scenic, the time of the trip is twice as long? How do I figure out what happened. The route appears correct.
Strange. If it was a smaller difference I would say it’s the map speed limit data being different, but if it’s really double or close to it, it’s possible that the route, or a big piece of it, is backtracked. To find that out zoom in on each via point and see if it’s maybe places on the ‘wrong’ side of the road. Scenic it very sesnitive to that. It won’t send you against traffic but in stead will send you further, the. Do a u-turn, to get you to that point on that side.
I’ve actually taken this drive, it takes a little bit less than 2 hours now says 3 hours 22 min. I made one change at the beginning so I reloaded it to scenic with an edited name. I zoomed in and I don’t see anything funny. Can I see the turn by turn on scenic, so I can compare it to written set of directions?
No, unfortunately not, but I'm afraid that won't bring much good as directions will be difference as well. Would you mind sharing the route with me in furkot? Then I can have a detailed look tomorrow. My furkot email is the same as the email you get when you tap the 'email me' button all the way at the bottom of the support page.
