183km route in Google Maps becomes over 1,000km in Scenic.

In google maps, in the panel on the left, where you enter the stops, there are typically the names of the places. Sometimes these names are ambiguous. I.e. there are two places with that name. If that's the case, sometimes Scenic gets a different search result (the "other" one) for that name. My guess, without seeing the actual route, is that this is what's happening here. To work around this, in Google Maps, move the markers corresponding with those stop a little bit on the map, so that the name in the panel on the left changes. Then import that URL into Scenic.

It depends on the headset you are using the ‘priorities’ you set for the headset (intercom higher priority then music, phone call higher prio than intercom, etc). With some headsets this is configurable, other not. Sena’s have more problems then Cardo’s overall.
From Scenic perspective you could try to set voice output to ‘as Phone Call (HFP)’. Sound quality of instruction will be less but might get you intercom back after playing instruction.
