Gateway -> CO-141 south via Dolores/San Miguel canyon country and Naturita -> CO-145 through Norwood to Placerville -> CO-62 east to Ridgway -> US-550 south to Ouray. ~130 mi (blog estimate); 3–4 h (blog estimate). Canyon day, intentionally short. No Telluride spur in the blog itinerary. Lunch Norwood or Ridgway. Fuel gap possible: verify last Top Tier 91+ station before leaving Gateway.
