First of all,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/HT207043\">Apple&#8217;s official documentation<\/a> states &#8220;Liquid damage is not covered under warranty&#8221;, but secondly a case also helps against vibrations, dust and accidentally dropping your phone while wearing your clumsy motorcycle gloves.<\/p>\n<p>As always there are several solution out there varying in quality and price.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"margin10alignleft alignleft wp-image-240 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/scenicapp.space\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/tankbag.png\" alt=\"iPhone as Motorcycle GPS - tankbag\" width=\"139\" height=\"139\" \/>The most simple solution is\u00a0putting your phone in your tank bag\u2019s (see through) map holder. Disadvantages of this option is that most likely your touch screen will not work through the plastic of your tank bag. Furthermore your phone might move around in there and you\u2019ll have to look down quite a bit to see what\u2019s on the screen. Most importantly though.. if the sun is shining, chances of overheating are high. Your tank bag segment acts like a little over in that case. Compare it to sitting in a parked car with all windows closed while the sun is on it. Most of them protect your phone from the elements while keeping the touch functionality. Some of them offer a\u00a0range of mounts\u00a0that enable you to put your Phone in a safe and visible place on your motorcycle like for example the handle bars.
