Voice volume sporadic
Quote from Corkster52 on 14.08.2020, 11:59I went on a 2100 mile ride last month and all of the time that I used Scenic through my iPhone 8 Plus through my Cardo helmet system, the volume of each route direction would go from the correct volume to a whisper, almost always within the same sentence. I would like to pursue anything I can do to stop this from happening. I’ve tried all of the volume adjustments that I know of. I am leaving for another 2500+ mile trip on Monday and hope I can get it fixed before then.

From a Scenic perspective I recommend to leave the Voice Output (in Settings > Sound & Haptics) to 'Device Default'. Then, when you started the ride, make sure the volume is OK for you (by going to the 'big button' menu and using the volume buttons there). It could also have been a Scenic version issue. In previous versions there were some issues with voice, which were fixed in version 2.3.0. Version 2.3.0 was released mid June though (so that would have been before your previous trip). You can check your version number at the bottom of the settings tab.
It could also be a Cardo issue / feature. I have the Schuberth SRC system (basically a rebranded Cardo, admittedly, a very old system). That cardo adjust the volume based on environment noise. In other words, when it senses environment noise increases (due to increasing wind noise due to increasing speed), it starts to crank up the volume automatically, without touching a button. Vice versa it also decreases volume when environment noise decreases.
