unable to import from kurviger

Hi, have used kurviger for years but needed means to import to Iphone. Scenic was recommended .

paid for the scenic app and downloaded.

easy, efficient and ideal... ONCE

yesterday I simply get the error message " incorrect gpx file format" message when I try and export to scenic.

I lost nearly 2 hours trying to make it work. I then spent time on the Kurviger forum and found other people with the same problem.

Selon their forum it is a problem with the "scenic" serveur . I have checked again this morning and it still soes not fonction.

Do you have a solution for me? bearing in mind that I paid for this app specifically for this task, and it fonctioned one time only...

Apologies for the inconvenience. I will need to take a look at what is happening.  This is the first time I hear about it so I am a bit surprised there are more people with this problem before. In any case I will investigate of course.

Would you mind sending me the Kurviger url (copy paste from browser address bar) of the route. If you prefer you can use the ‘email me’ button at bottom of support page.

Meanwhile you can do two things:

- create curvy route in Scenic (this also contacts Kurviger) through the routes tab > Create route

- export as GPX from Kurviger and copy-paste the GPX file in the Scenic WebApp.

hope everything is well.
I’m having exactly the same problem.. re-installing didn’t help. Exporting Leads to loss of data on kurviger.de (page simply re-starts) and no Import to Scenic. It always worked like a charm..

If you remove the app, you remove all its data, including the map, so that's expected. But, you can download them without paying again. I have 4 countries registered as 'purchased' for your user name. You should see them in the top section "Downloaded-Purchased" in the offline maps screen. (Of course you need to be logged in with your Scenic account)

Meanwhile I have looked into it. Appears to be an issue on the Kurviger website where it's not linking to the Scenic API anymore. I have contacted Kurviger. Will keep you posted here.

UPDATE: Kurviger fixed the issue. It's working again now
