Scenic not reconizing ferry even though map sees it

Happy Thanksgiving all!
Me and the old man are planning a route down in Galveston, TX to do tomorrow and there is a ferry there. When we create VIA or STOPs just before and after the ferry, the app refuses to allow a route via said ferry (yes, Avoid Ferry is not checked). I have attached some images. Any thoughts on this?
