Scenic crashes when sound notifications are played together with Coyote app.

I'm really enjoying the use of Scenic and I love the evolution it makes. However, a bug is unfortunately killing a lot of joy in the use of the app...
In my setup I use Scenic on an Iphone8+, with a Sena headset Evo20s with earbuds and running the Coyote app in the background (notifications for speed traps, traffic alerts, …). Sound output is configured as "telephone conversation (HFP)" as it gives me clearer audio instructions.
What happens: Scenic Navigation and audio guidance goes well until I receive a sound notification from the Coyote app in the background at the same moment as I receive sound from the Scenic app? If this happens, then the Scenic app closes instantly (not minimized), while the Coyote app stays alive. Then I have to restart the Scenic app, click continue route, and click continue once again (a joy with gloves).
Is this a known issue? What can I do to avoid this behavior, knowing that I need the functionality of the Coyote app in the background and I've set HFP to receive better/clearer voice output.

Hi Diederik,
my guess is that both Scenic and the coyote app ask for the same priority when playing sound simultaneously, and since iOS can only give the same priority to one at a time, it kills one of those apps. Why that’s always Scenic I don’t know, but I will investigate. Since this is a pretty specific problem could you turn on crash reporting on your device please? That way I will get the crash reports which will help me identify the exact lines of codes that are causing the crash.
Here’s how to turn on crash reporting:
Settings App > Privacy > Analytics & Improvements > Share iPhone Analytics ON > Share with app developers ON
Now if the app crashes again, I will receive the crash report automatically and will make sure to analyse this for the next Scenic update.
