iPhone Ipad rides not syncing
Quote from phil1250GSA on 30.04.2021, 17:45Hi Guido, first of all Kudos to you for such a great app. Absolutely love it. The ability to plan seamlessly on a large screen ipad and then have it appear on the iphone for an adventure is awesome.
To that end I have been saving my rides to look later on the larger screen. Until now it has worked flawlessly. However there is one ride on my iphone that will not appear in the app on the ipad. I have logged out and in but it will not appear. I deleted a ride on the ipad and the corresponding ride disappeared off the iphone so they seem to be talking...all but one ride that I’d like to see on the bigger screen.
Any ideas?

what’s your scenic nickname and the name of the ride? I can have a detailed look tomorrow.
cheers,

Thanks for the quick response.
I think I have discovered the issue. First off I hadn’t logged off on the iphone....when I did the ride that I wanted to see disappeared. So it looks as tho the ipad is the master.
But also today I did a ride and closed the app on the iphone before saving. When I opened the app again I had the option to save the ride. It saved ok to my iPhone but would not show on the ipad. I’m guessing I need to save before closing the app in order to get it on the server?
No dramas either way.

Well, it should work either way. With that info you might have just pointed me in the right direction. I'll look into it in detail in the coming week. Thanks!!!
Furthermore... none of your devices is the 'master'. The master is on the server. You should be able to do things on any of your devices, even change different things at the same time and it should all sync to the server and from there to your other devices. The only time this can become tricky is when you change the same thing on both devices (e.g. change something for the same route on two different devices).
