Add driving instructions in route overlook screen?
Quote from johansw on 29.09.2020, 14:03Quite often, I like driving seeing the whole route, or the rest of the trip, not only the next km or two. I like, in other words, seeing where I am related to the whole trip. When having the route overlook window on the screen in Scenic, I would very much appreciate also having the written driving instructions as in the ordinary navigation screen.
Could this be possible?

at the moment it’s not. I’m assuming you discovered the overview button on the ‘big button menu’? This will zoom out to the entire route, but indeed also hides the upcoming instruction at the top. I’ll add this to the list for Scenic 3 to not hide this. Meanwhile, perhaps you could make the zoom buttons visible (Settings > Navigation and Tracking) and use the zoom buttons during riding to get the map to show the area you want.

This works just fine except for quickly getting back to "normal" zoom-levels in one tap when (unexpectedly) needed, which you can from the overlook view using the down-arrow 🙂
